Quincy Apparel, a Startup With a Lean Approach

Quincy Apparel was founded by two of my former students. The idea was to provide better fitting, stylish and affordable work apparel for young professional women. They raised a million dollars but could only raise a million and a half part of the failure story. Neither founder had a background in apparel design and manufacturing. Their lean tests weren't actually a great indicator of whether they would be successful down the road.
