Saying No to a Needy Person

When you get to that stage of feeling comfortable with the idea of other people saying no, your asks shift dramatically so that you are asking without any pressure. So when you're needy, you put out this pressure that's easy for other people to resist. But if you just approach them like, hey, I've got this great idea,. Would you like to hear it? There's no pressure there and they want to lean in and definitely consider saying yes. They're inclined to say yes and then they'll make up their own mind about it. This was a long way of saying no magically leads to yes.
