The Overfaking of Cultural Relevance Teaching

The schools are too big, but you can't break them apart because then you'll have segregated schools. And so then you have this lack of a good solution and so their solution becomes overfig the pudding. They're going to teach cultural competency crap instead of teaching basic skills under the guise that if you don't come at Hispanic learner with Hispanic cultural tropes, then they're going to struggle to learn mathematics or whatever. It's not a question of what's being taught; it's about how it's being taught.
