CHAPTER

Is There a Human Side to Infrastructure?

I was moved by a story that you told in one of the talks I watched about Reckel Nelson, a woman in Atlantic, Georgia. She let he lets go runs into the middle of the intersection and gets hit by a drunk driver and dies. It shows really the human toll and price that happens with decisions and biases that happen in infrastructure. You get a story that's sadly not just limited to Atlanta or not limited to Raquel Nelson.
