Is There More Western Humor in Comedy?

I couldn't imagine anything like coming out of Japan. I kind of has like a family guy in Japan. It's weird though, because you have the game shows here which go above and beyond what we would think is acceptable. But then when for some reason comedy, it's like they don't really joke about that kind of stuff. Do you ever feel, do you ever wish there was more like, I guess Western humor in comedy? Yeah. Because big slapstick as well is technically worse.
