Former Japanese prime minister shinzo abe was shot and killed during a campaign event. The attack has completely shocked the country, where gun violence is virtually non existent. Hand guns are banned in the country, and people must undergo extensive tests, training in background checks to obtain and keep shotguns and air rifles.
