Claw the Conciliator - I Have to Grow Up

He's exploring the world around him and loving this idea of being free. And then throughout Claw the conciliator, he makes really no central effort to get to Thrax. He now has to be a dark, awful bureaucrat,. But in many senses, a bureaucrat who's going to be concerned not with individual torture of these people but with basic problems like how do I get the gruel down the hallways?
