Is Small Cap Value an Accurate Predictor?
Yardani: If you're an analyst predicting these forward earnings, are you likely to be more accurate for the large caps where there's a lot more prominence? And then the small caps, maybe their earnings wiggle about a lot more, and it's just harder to predict. So is this an accurate predictor? There'll be less analysts covering it, certainly. Yardani: Historically, over the long, long term, small caps do tend to have an outperformance bonus,. And so maybe if we're buying it at the right time, we will outperform.
