How to Hire and Manage Talent for the White House

I had this strategy I called management by index card with these big fat thick tall Index cards that we would get at the white house. They'd say national security council at the top super cool um and in handwriting My own handwriting I would write out for every person that worked for me the Anywhere from three to ten things that I expected them to do Over a one or two year tour of duty  and like very brief language This was also part of the hiring process if I can't capture what you're working on on a on an index card then obviously neither of us understand Specifically what you're going to do and the interim steps it's going to take to get there right Like brevity
