The Importance of Working Outside the Home

I grew up at a home where my mom always worked, and my parents were business owners. When we began attending a more conservative church faith community, is where I first encountered the thought process that women should make every effort to make the home their main priority. And it was a little shocking, because that's not what I was accustomed to. There's a lot of disagreement between different groups on this subject: Women need to be at home. Their place, and their kids really need them.
