The Ogre's Eyes Are on Lash, but Harks Must Have Burned It Before They Were Captured

Nezzie and harks were tied together, front to back, with the rope around both of their waists. The one they called lash sat on a bench facing the large, roaring fire that was off to nezzie's right. He held a short sword in one hand as if it were a pocket knife, and a thin sorbis limb in the other. Nezsie could see that harks was about to open her mouth and get into even more trouble. She knew she had to do something to protect her friend. Stretching out a finger near the water, she drew the circles in the air, her tip glowing like a green light. There was a grunt from
