Lockdowns Are Not a Bad Idea, or Are They Just Reminding Us of Themselves?
The telegraph has been trying to retrospectively brand all lockdowns as a terrible error. Is it actually persuading people that lockdown in general was a bad idea? Or is it just reminding everybody what an incompetent shower of fifth-reaters they are? It's definitely reminding us of the latter. Some of the texts are hilarious. But I don't think it's converting anyone to the Oakeshott position around lockdowns. What I think it's doing is entrenching positions.
