Juries have the right to decide both the fact and the law, says Lord Tebbit. Jury nullification is a way of preventing people from being involved in judicial process. The jury can also give their verdict contrary to the evidence or against the direction of the court. Judge: It's not only the juror's right, but his duty to find the verdict according to his own understanding, judgment and conscience.
