What Is the Confession of Faith?

If you've read the history of England from 1550 to 1690, you know what a confusing mess it is. We have Henry VIII who made England into a sort of reformed country. And then the pendulum would swing between Romanists or reformational Catholics and Protestants. The Church of England was not really very reformed in the middle of this period.
