The Future of Battery Technology

Australia is the biggest supplier of nickel in the world, third biggest supplier of manganese. And yet, all of that product's being dug out of the ground and sent overseas. So I like what I saw in the strategy paper about looking at battery options. But the challenge I've got with that is you need to supply it,. You know, you need an end customer for batteries. Australia should focus from a battery supply chain perspective. It should be the refining space, particularly lithium. As said, we're the largest supplier in the world.
