In the late 60s, Stuart Davis became obsessed with wanting to see a picture of Earth from space. He made a sign and printed out buttons that asked why haven't we seen one? And he handed them out on college campuses in an attempt to get people talking about it. Not too long after NASA actually did take a picture of the Earth from a satellite,. And it was the first time the public saw a photo of the whole Earth.
