God Sends His Teachers to Redeem the World
In the CE, we've restored a line that originally said, except for God's teachers, there would be no hope of salvation. In these passages, what God does is he says, I got to get my children out of this. And so he calls all over the world for people to basically sign on as his representatives. The idea is that their presence with them teaches something different than what all the rest of us are teaching. That's the only hope for the world.
