Firestone believed that white people were the world's eatable parents in the sense of Freud's eatable paradigm. This was a way to explain for Firestone black men's desire to assault white women and black women wanting to be sexualized by white men which is just a way to naturalize these very social and culturally determined dynamics, she says.
