The Importance of Narcotics in Law Enforcement
I like to think that it was because they recognize my ability. But I think it was more out of necessity. It was snowfall. Without question. And so you get these dueling factions and bodies were just falling everywhere. There was a narcotics nexus to almost every single crime going on in the city. Somewhere along the line, narcotics was a part of the equation. The people that we were encountering had information that I needed. So I honed. I started to hone those skills in my time and jump out. Then the opportunity, because like you, I always wanted to be a detective.
