We have around 33 thousand plants on earth that are used in traditional medicine, but scientists have only really looked at a few hundred of those. So i do a lot of primary interviewsso working with people that use plants as medicine. And we bring those back to laband and study with the goal of trying to understand how o these plants work. Are they safe? Do they work against these infections? In which compounds are responsible for those activities? Or sasrally excitingcanyou can you explain to me just, this is like a very basic definition question?"
