I like to try and cover everything. I am interested in hearing your side of the story regarding what's going on in Russia. And let's maybe come onto that in a bit, because I still want to find out some other things about you. Okay. All right. So is there a stand up comedy scene in Russia? Well, I may say it's not quite yet. There are like, well, there are, I don't know, 50 comedians, 50 stand up comedians in Russia. Most of them live in Moscow and in St. Petersburg. Some are in Siberia. We don't have a proper stand up comedy clubs like comedy store or comedy cafe or comedy seller. But
Nikolai Kulikov is an award-winning Russian screenwriter and stand-up comedian. This year he spent a couple of months living in London (and also briefly in Dublin) performing stand-up comedy. I saw one of his performances in English on video and thought he was very funny! So, I decided to contact him for an interview to find out more about him, his experiences learning English, his views on performing to British & Irish people, and how he feels about life in Russia these days. I hope you enjoy the episode! **Please be aware that this episode features some rude language and swearing** Click here for more information
