Shadow Dark RPG for D&D 5e
I can get ideas from shadow to keep in the borderlands mix it with some of my own ideas and that lets me build out a really cool fun campaign there's lots of places to explore. I have these nearby caves that they can go into and I jotted down some things that might be in those caves but next session they're probably ready to go. For this style of campaign we could have used many different systems we could use old school essentials would fit very well with this the shadow dark RPG I think would work really well with this.
