The End of China's Crackdown on Tech Companies

In January of this year, Guo Xu Qing, the party secretary of the People's Bank of China, declared an end to more than two years of crackdowns on some of China's largest tech companies. This was a pivotal moment in China and came as a surprise to many observers because Chinese technology firms were really doing well not only domestically, but around the world.
