VCs - What's the Thought Process?

I think there aren't still as many operators and founders who've gone on to the other side and helped founders build their companies. I'm both nervous and excited, but the thought process is very simple. As a founder, you're deep. You're solving the same problem, 1% better. Here, there is tons of context switching. So you are embedding yourself in many journeys, tiny sort of way. The fact that these were fantastic founders I would have hung out with anyway, just made it easier.
