A critically acclaimed but semi controversial Mel Gibson movie that bombed at the box office in 2018 was in a recent week number four on Netflix's English language films. The existence of Netflix and its interface and its user base means that Netflix can take a movie that's already been around and say, we're going to make this movie. "I still haven't seen it from what everyone tells me. They say it's pretty good, but controversial seems to be this kind of sentiment"
