The Importance of Preparing for Climate Change

The social and economic dimensions of physical risk are deceptively complex. Even if the climate models don't model them perfectly, it's better than not modeling them at all. The IPCC report came out recently and said that even if we cut emissions today, we'll still see warming until 2050. So really preparing for these types of events is incredibly important.
