How to Start a Short-Term Rental Business
There are two camps of people that usually get started in the world of short-term rentals. If you only have, let's say, $10,000, then rental arbitrage is the clear route to take. You can either go and put a down payment on a property ranging from 10 to 20%. Or if you're buying a $300,000 house, it could be anywhere from $30,000 to $60,000. But actually what my wife and I were doing is one of the most simple best ways to get into real estate: House hacking.
