The Importance of Pay Transparency

I'm a big believer that pay transparency among colleagues is incredibly important because companies already know how much everyone makes. So to that end, I want to throw into the public domain,  the offer that I got from Amazon last year. Their salary was capped, I think at 160 and then the first year cash comp came in just a hair north of $350,000. It's definitely not a low offer but for an L7, it's pretty good.
