The Centrality of Going for Refuge
In principle, in theory, all Buddhists accept the four Dharmamudras. We just have to be certain that that is really the case. Going for refuge is what makes you a Buddhist. And of course, you can go for refuge on a number of different levels. Not many people need a reminder as regards the centrality of going for refuge. The fact, therefore, that lifestyle is a quite second that we matter. In it, men and women alike have equal responsibilities and duties.
