Is the Text of the Scriptures an Infallible Text?

Is a scholar who has dealt extensively with the original, you know, with with early manuscripts. Some sadly lose their faith in the divinity of the saviour when they delve into this and learn about variancs. But for me it was like, yo, you'd expect some of this stuff to happen.
