The Importance of Integrity in Decision Making
The empathy within that is really important I think having training around that too, I mean part of the story around Tamir Rice that kills me Because he's this 13, 14 year old child who has a plastic toy gun And there was a decision, a two second decision when the cop pulled up to take that guy's life But then when you should go back through and you review the footage of the 911 call The caller who calls about saying there's a child maybe a juvenile who's brandishing a weapon They said twice that that weapon might have been like fake So I think actually having the resources for people to make those decisions.
