Writing a Textbook
I was never good at formal third person style nonfiction. I always felt much better just being one person relating to another person. Part of what really inspired me, were these writings by this guy, Elbert Hubbard,. He had written all these little biographies of people back in the 1890s and printed them himself. And they were gorgeously printed. The writing is so personal. So just one person sitting down talking to another. Even though a lot of people were telling me you couldn't do that.
