How Do You Get Your Sound Organized?

I find it rather confusing that you have unlimited gigabites at hand. I come from a different era where your sampler had, like, o or giger, a megabite and that was like what fit on a floppydist. It's very important when you the relationship between having an idea in your head and being able to point that idea toward something concrete in the material world. So i try to keep my mind my that that place where that stuff is rather simple. And all the stuff that i don't know where it is, i try to invent from that, from that sauce, from that cor em stock, i would say.
