The Importance of Integration in the M&A Industry

The way people think about M&A has fundamentally changed and in a number of different ways. Today, you're a serial acquirer at a certain point in time for a certain type of deal. It means that you don't have a single playbook that scales across time and across deals. And which is why I say the integration process part is by and large okay, but the integration value creation has been stuck in the 1990s or 2005 at best.
