And that was where i was first introduced to this idea that you can perform your musical instrument even if you are locked into a seat on a cross country flight. The more vividly you imagine it, including the ambient sounds and the smells and the discomfort of your posture when you're going to be there the more vividly you imagining it,. It's not really reducing anxiety, but you'll do much better building your confidence that you can handle the anxiety you'll have.
