The problem of the art market for Kaitan O is like not exactly new, but it's visible as like unbelievably clear. You know, I don't know if he'd read Adorno at the time, but comes up with very Adorno and formulations of seemingly sweet generis. And then, you know, for the white stripes, there's a more or less 21st century phenomenon. But nonetheless, the sort of technique they all use is citationality. In other words, what they want to say, they end up saying by citing other forms and other quoting other genres; turning them into and making them speak to each other in a way that sort of is determinate.
