The story is that Charlie Chaplin kneeled down and kissed every one of her fingers. I think she had a really profound impact on Eleanor Roosevelt, who many years later in 1963 would be appointed as the chairwoman of the first presidential commission on the status of women. So she really was kind of an amazing sensation when she came to the United States.
