Botulinum Toxin: A Toxic Substance
Last week we were like kind of down in the weeds of the chemistry. This one's a little lighter on the chemistry and more like a broad overview. It is commonly known as a cosmetic procedure, but it actually is a trademarked name for a purified substance. Botox comes from B.O. is the first of botulinum and Tox is the first three letters of toxin. Okay. Well, I think you're about to get more strong feelings because I had no idea about this and I think it's really cool.
