The Story of Chad Olson and Curtis Reeves

Chad Olson, 43, and his wife Nicole went to see the 2013 war movie Lone Survivor with their three-year-old daughter Lexi. A retired police captain named Curtis Reeves was sitting just behind them when he heard a rather irritating clicking sound coming from in front of him. Chad had been texting on his cell phone without putting it on silent. He insisted that he'd be done in a few seconds but wasn't good enough for Curtis who then said something about how Chad should think of other people. According to Vivian Reeves, Chad then spoke very aggressively towards her husband, insisting that he'd continue to text his daughter until he was finished.
