Is Homesteading of Corpses a Good Idea?
If we had a sort of homesteading of corpses approach, hospices would be willing to compete for people. The corpse might have viable organs which could be sold or distributed. This would actually benefit people who are close to death who currently might languish in hospices because hospices have no real incentive to work and attract people to come and stay with you.
