The History of the Suffragettes
The Daily Mail coined the word 'Suffragette' as a slam on women's rights. Lords of London issued insurance policies that covered damages by suffragettes. Women had to surrender their parcels and umbrellas at museum doors. They were trained in Jiu Jitsu by one of the suffragettes, Edith Garrod.
