The Importance of Desire and Lust in the Bible

I don't believe that temptation in and of itself is sinful but then let's talk about desire people will say well desire isn't sinful until it turns into lust here's the problem with that argument. The word for desire or covet is the Hebrew word hamad same Hebrew word same Greek word so it's not that a desire turns into lust wrongly or to desire is lust or it is coveting I think that's very important because we should never be clinging to our old self who should be dead. We're trying to resuscitate our old creation our old man when we should be identifying with the second Adam.
