What I've Learned From the Civil War in Iraq and Afghanistan
I hadn't seen that before. I think it was really an ineroc that i came to see that for the first time. It was accompanied by this also unpleasant discovery of the degree to which i felt like the united states was lying to me, my own government. The spokesmen would get up there and say things that were so completely ridiculously at odds with what we were seeing out in the country. That's honestly the thing that was most alarming.
