I am a deep brown, moving into darker brown, black women. And it's particularly a form of violence against a dark brown, you know, deep brown and dark brown black women. People didn't want to talk to me at college parties or something like that. But then when i would go to working class, a african american communities, there was never that. Andso i began to realize that this was a class issue.
