There are 3.8 million breast cancer survivors or thrivers in the US right now, but maybe we could cut that number down by at least half by espousing healthy diet and lifestyle behaviors. This year, about 2700 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 530 are going to die from it. The death rate from breast cancer has gone down about 1% per year since 2013, again, because of earlier diagnosis and better treatment.
