Is There a Golden Age for Getting Your Child a Smart Phone?

There's a campaign that i've recently learnt about called wait till eight. And its encouraging parents to until eighth grade to get their kids a smart phone of their own. But is there any be, no golden age for getting your child a phone? I mean, and by the way, i completely recognize that some families absolutely just need a phone in order to communicate with logistics across households or all that. So no guilt here. Just just wondering if there is a recommended age. Yes, it's a very, very uncommon question. There's not much, um, that is a difference between those those ages.
