The Darkness of Boogeyman

Boogeyman is just sort of the amorphous personification of dark thoughts, dreams, monsters under the bed. It's a story about grief and how that grief is manifesting itself in a monstrous form. The point at which boogie man is at its most effective is when it's not showing you the monster. What it's doing is frightening you with the possibility that there is something monstrous there.
