The word in Hebrew for n sign is actually ness, which means a signal but also the word for miracle. The Lord will raise a miraculous signal flag which will institute or initiate the gathering of Israel. Yes, angels appeared in that temple and ministered to the Aaronic priesthood. Jesus called that temple, his own house and the house of his father and he loved it and it was spiritual.
