TikTok Blackout
On May 19th, which was about a week before George Floyd was killed, Black creators had staged this TikTok blackout in a way to amplify their voices. So I found out about a lot of Black creators through the blackout. And because of that, when the Black Lives Matter protests happen a week or so later, my feed was like more primed to give me information about that as well.
