Sister d's incredible story makes me think about two seemingly contradictory things. You know, you just lived at the cross currents of loss, sexual abuse, war. And then the other thing i was thinking about is the seemingly bottomless capacity for some human beings to be strong and resilient in the face of seemingly whatever is thrown in their path.
